Rockit adds DoD:S Team

With great pleasure we can today announce the recruitement of a further team under the rockit brand. With this new team we also enter a new game and a new community. As our roots are set in a small scene playing a classic WW2 online game we thought Day of Defeat: Source would fit just fine into rockit. The new team is composed of expierienced players from Germany that are sticking together for more than a year now. After several nice discussions we came to the conclusion that this team is what we were looking for.
The lineup counts ten players which is nothing special in DoD:S. The typical way lineups are presented is to distinguish between Heavy and Light weapons as well as the Sniper.

rockit.TF2 in ESL Major Series

Today will bring us a very important Team Fortress 2 match. It is not about 1000$ as the title says but it is about make-or-break. The winner will stay in the ESL Major Series competition and the loser will lose the last chance for the 500 euros cashpot. Our very own rockit.TF2 team will fight against the direct qualified Division 1 team r@ts. They recently performed very well against YYT and other big names and are favorite for most of the users. rockit faces eSrael in ETF2L

Right after the hard match against Team YoYotech yesterday, our Team Fortress 2 team will face its next opponent tomorrow evening in form of eSrael Gaming. The eSr match will be the opener for our team in ETF2L season 6. eSrael could already be beaten a two times by rockit.TF2, nevertheless they are one of the top TF2 teams at the moment and should therefore not be handled as an easy opponent. Only 100% performance and coordinated teamplay can guarantee a victory for tomorrow’s match.

Maps for tomorrow night will be Granary and Well and the match is scheduled to start at 9 PM in central European time. Source-TV will also be provided and you can watch the match live as it happens via this ip: 194.60.68.4:27021

ETF2L: Deutsch-deutsches Duell

In der für unser TF2 Team bisher außerordentlich erfolgreichen ETF2L Saison steht mit dem deutschen Team von veAre am Sonntag die nächste Herausforderung bevor. Unsere Mannen rund um Loe und reCon gehen zwar als Favouriten in diese Begegnung, aber auf die leichte Schulter sollte man den Gegner nicht nehmen, konnten diese sich doch in der deutschen Scene langfristig einen relativ guten Namen machen. Zur Primetime um 20:00 Uhr gehts am Sonntag auf der Map Granary gleich zweimal zur Sache.

Mit einem Sieg am Sonntag können wir unseren Platz im oberen Bereich der zweiten Division ersteinmal festigen. In den Matchwochen 7 und 8 stehen mit den Schweden von jagArna und den Hampshire Heavies aus Großbritannien die nächsten Hürden bevor. Mit dem bisherigen Divisionsersten von YDK Gaming folgt dann in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft der nächste schwere Brocken. Dann wird sich zeigen ob unsere Jungs mit den top Teams Europa’s mithalten können.
